Multi-Location Management
Adding & Managing Locations
If your business operates in more than one location, GBP Poster makes it easy to manage them all from a single dashboard. The number of locations you can connect depends on your plan:
| Plan | Max Locations |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Starter | 1 |
| Pro | 5 |
| Agency | 25 |
To add a new location:
- Go to Settings > Locations.
- Click Add Location. If you have already connected your Google account, any additional locations will appear automatically from your Business Profile.
- Select the location(s) you want to add and click Save.
To remove a location, open its settings and click Remove. This will not delete any posts already published to that location; it simply removes it from your GBP Poster dashboard.
If you need more locations than your current plan allows, you can upgrade your plan at any time.
City-Tailored Content
City-tailored content is a Pro and Agency feature that automatically customizes each post for its specific location.
When enabled, the AI will:
- Reference the specific city name and local area for each location.
- Incorporate relevant local context such as neighborhoods, landmarks, or regional details.
- Generate a unique variation of the summary for each location so no two posts are identical.
Why this matters: Google values unique, locally relevant content. Posting the same generic text to multiple locations can dilute your local SEO impact. City-tailored posts signal to Google that each location is actively managed with location-specific content.
City-tailored content is enabled by default on eligible plans. To disable it for a specific post, uncheck the "Customize per location" toggle in the post editor before publishing.
Posting to All Locations at Once
When creating a post, you can choose to publish to all your connected locations simultaneously:
- Create your post as usual by pasting a blog URL and generating a summary.
- In the location selector, click Select All or individually check each location you want to target.
- If city-tailored content is enabled (Pro/Agency), the AI will generate a unique variation for each selected location. You can preview each variation before publishing.
- Click Publish to send the post to all selected locations at once.
Each location receives its own post. In your Post History, you can see the status of each individual location's post and whether it was published successfully.
Per-Location Analytics
GBP Poster tracks post performance for each location independently. From your dashboard, you can view:
- Posts published — Total number of posts published per location over any time period.
- Post status — Whether each post is live, pending, or encountered an error during publishing.
- Publishing history — A timeline of all posts published to each specific location, with links to view the post on Google.
To view analytics for a specific location, click on the location name in your dashboard sidebar. This filters all views to show only that location's data.
Advanced analytics (engagement metrics, click-through data) are available on Pro and Agency plans.
